EVO 2019 Announcement Trailers
The Evolution Championship Series are without a doubt the biggest and most important fighting game tournaments in the world, so you can rest assured there will always be made some announcements as well. With EVO 2019 finished, here’s a quick selection of the 3 that stood out for me the most. Jab-Cross-Left Hook!
SOULCALIBUR VI Cassandra & Season Pass 2
History continues with Cassandra as the final character in Season 1 and fortunately enough for fans of the game we got another season announced as well packed with new moves and characters. Samurai Shodown’s Haohmaru gets added to the roster as well!
Tekken 7 Season Pass 3
More seasoning from Bandai Namco with Season Pass 3 for Tekken 7. This one will feature the return of Zafina and brand new character Leroy Smith. Still on the fence on the last one, but his moveset looks interesting. More characters will be announced later!
Street Fighter V Arcade Edition Additional Characters
The unfortunate leak came by surprise, but the roster for SFV just became bigger with 3 new characters: E. Honda (completing the original world warriors line up), Lucia and Poison. It seems there’s still some juice left to squeeze out of this game for which I’m glad.
Putting the gloves back on?
With all the said I can feel the itch to play some fighting games again (with lowered expectations regarding my growth as a player this time). Whether I keep punching depends on how satisfying the scratch will be.
